Guitar maintenance and repair services
As well as building bespoke furniture, I also offer guitar maintenance and repair services in the Turku, Varsinais-Suomi area of Finland. I have built a number of “parts-caster” guitars, and so far, one complete from scratch guitar. This has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to do offer the services described below.

Set up
A comlete service and set up. The existing strings are removed and the whole instument is cleaned. Tuners are checked and adjusted if necessary. New strings are installed. The nut is checked and filed if necessary. The neck relief (bow) is checked and adjused. The action (string height) is adjusted. Intonation is set. Pickup height is set. Any other minor jobs included
€100 inc ALV, excluding replacement strings.

Fret level, crown and polish
If your frets are worn, but not worn out, or the frets were never levelled at the factory (highly likely on most guitars) then they can be improved with a levelling. This can fix buzzy frets, dead notes, and allow you to adust your action to where you want it. The final step is to polish the frets to a mirror shine, giving you a silky playing exprience.
