A sturdy and unique stool with a thick seat.

Each leg is comprised of two separate parts with negative space between them, creating light and shadow. The legs are gently splayed for stability and tapered for elegance. They are attached to the spreaders with simple wooden pegs. The end-grain of the spreaders is proudly on display, contrasting with the long-grain of the legs.

This example has a birch seat and pine legs. Other wood types can also be used.

Over time, the colour of the seat and legs will mellow and warm with honey tones. This is a natural, and unstoppable process.

Metal detector test - Pass. There are no metal screws or fasteners anywhere in this piece.
